Types of Orchids

They are so precious.  Beautiful.  A few species produce nice fragrance too.  One of the black orchid where you can find it among my orchid's photo here.  They last a few months.  If you know how to take care of them.  They last for years.  They will always need tender loving care and time to nurture them.  They are clean and require a balance of sun light, water and wind.

The photograph just above here indicates a vanda species.  Require sunlight and not in the house or dark shaded compound area.  Not direct sunlight though.  The will bloom a few times in a year.  A few twick too if the plant is in healthy condition.

The photograph below indicates a species which the flower can last for up to two to three months.  The Royal yellow in colour is attractive.  Such orchids are rare and usually bought by hotel, or used during Companies' Corporate functions
, Grand Opening ceremonies, birthday gift, Wedding Ceremoney, and so forth.

Phalaenopsis is certainly grand and lovely with it's vibrance, fresh and classy reflection.

Not easy to find Phalaenopsis Orchid for sale in the morning wet market.  You have to pre-order them even in the Inter-flora flower shop.

Though we have the Orchid farm which plant them.  A lot of energy and care to do so.  These special Phalaenopsis Orchid require a specific temperature to grow healthy and to bloom.  In Malaysia, among the hilly area, Orchid Farm producers usually set up a special room temperature for these Phalaenopsis Orchid to grow and Orchids to remain fresh, full bloom as long as possible.
